How is this Bootcamp different from all the Strategy courses I am taking at business school?
Strategy Consulting Bootcamp introduces you to tools and methods that have been developed and refined by the top-tier strategy consulting firms over the years. Business school courses do not teach this content simply because strategy consultants have generally not returned to universities to teach their trade. That is what Professor Wadhwa did at Columbia Business School four years ago, after a stint at McKinsey.

To further understand how the Bootcamp equips you with learning and tools that are not covered in business school strategy courses, review the detailed content of the Bootcamp by clicking here.

I haven’t taken the core business school classes yet – will I still derive value from the Bootcamp?
Absolutely! The Bootcamp doesn't have any functional or industry prerequisites but instead teaches a way of thinking about problems and organizing data. The class has proven useful to industry professionals, executive MBA’s, and students with other advanced degrees who haven’t taken the core business school courses.

Has this Bootcamp been taught before?
Yes! The Bootcamp has been taught as a course in the MBA and executive-MBA programs at Columbia Business School over the last four years. In the last year, this course has specifically incorporated the Bootcamp format of delivering key sessions in a 2-day seminar. In addition, Professor Wadhwa has delivered the same Bootcamp to executives at large corporations interested in developing strategy problem-solving and communication skills.
